Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes please. Bookings taken without a deposit are provisional only. The date is only secured as yours once deposit has reached me. Please let me know as soon as the deposit is paid and I will email you a confirmation receipt. For further info please see – How And When do I Pay .

How and when do I pay?

An initial deposit of 25% of the total actual wedding day, hair costs, is required to secure the booking. I don’t include the trial or travel costs in the deposit. The balance is then due by bank transfer any time leading up to the day, or in cash on the day. I don’t take cheques or debit/credit card I’m afraid.

What happens if I need to change the date or cancel?

The deposit to secure the date is there to protect both of us. If you need to cancel, the deposit is non refundable. If you need to change the date or venue I would reassess travel costs accordingly and if the date is free the deposit would be transferrable if given a reasonable amount of time for notice -Up to 3 months before hand. If the new date isn’t free then it would be classed as a cancellation. It’s always advisable to out take out wedding insurance to cover any eventuality.

Are you fully insured?

Yes I’m fully insured.  As any professional hairstylist should be.

What area do you cover and do you travel to my venue on the day?

I travel all over the Northeast, Northumberland, North Yorkshire and up to The Borders, to any venue, or your home address. My travel costs are 45p a mile, after a 10 mile radius from my address in NE3.  My main aim is to make your morning as stress free as possible.

What if you are ill on my wedding day?

In this unlikely event  (It hasn’t happened yet) I would do my utmost to find you an alternative stylist, but only someone that I would feel comfortable in recommending. You would of course, receive a full refund of your deposit.

Do you do make up too?

I’m a fully trained and qualified hairstylist and although I have done make up for photoshoots when asked, I’m not a trained make-up artist. I can however recommend a few fantastic girls.

Brides should always attach a telephone number as a back up and please also check your junk mail for my reply as some email accounts think my replies are spam. This can be frustrating for both parties if you believe I haven’t replied and I actually have. Please be ensured that I won’t share any details with 3rd parties and only use the info you enter to reply to any enquiries that you send me. I always aim to reply within 48 hours Monday to Friday. Due to weddings , a weekend enquiry will be answered on a Monday. Thank you for your patience . I look forward to hearing from you!
